Hatkit now official Owasp project

I just got two of my project approved as official Owasp projects. These are the Hatkit Proxy and the Hatkit Datafiddler. In case you don’t know what they are, there is some information on the Owasp wiki Hatkit Proxy,Datafiddler and also a presentation I put up on slideshare about the Datafiddler here.

Currently, I am in the process of writing documentation on the Owasp wiki. There are two new mailing lists that you are welcome to join if these things sounds interesting to you:

I was looking for a TCP Proxy for quite a long time.
If I could express a wish or give a recommendation I would concentrate on the TCP-Proxy part. There are so many good web proxies available but I don’t know a single useful TCP Proxy. Up to now I’ve used ncat and sed to change the payload of TCP streams.

    Great work!

Had the same problem myself. Although quite recently, another tcp proxy has been created: Mallory, which can also be used as a default gateway in order to capture *all* traffic. The dgw-mode kind of requires you to run it in a special-purpose box or VM, but it can be used for single port interception also. http://intrepidusgroup.com/insight/mallory/

Thanks for the feedback, I will put some work into the tcp part soonish, there is some stuff I need to do on the datafiddler first (mainly documentation, then some really interesting stuff using existing tools for analysis).
